| Definitions, Ratings & Explanations: My mother always told me... if you don’t have anything nice to say… then don’t say anything at all. In this vein, we try to only address restaurants that are worthy of our praise. We understand that most of these restaurateurs want nothing but the best for their customers and that everyone is human and will make the occasional mistake. With this in mind, we have tried to provide criticism that will be taken “constructively”. You will also notice that we have a five star rating system. It translates as follows: ***** = exceptional; it doesn’t get any better than this **** = above average; highly recommended *** = average; no complaints ** = below average; needs work * = very bad; rethink altogether As mentioned above, you probably won’t find any one star or even many two star ratings in this assortment. After all, it’s Atlanta’s Finest Dining.com, not Atlanta’s mediocre dining. Furthermore, each restaurant is rated according to what you would expect for that restaurant's genre. In other words, a five star rating at an upscale restaurant means something different than a five star rating at a casual restaurant. These ratings are meant to represent your expectations of what would be the best possible dining experience within that category of restaurant. We welcome your comments and recommendations.
